Majority decision
In most cases the Board members reach a unanimous decision but in some
circumstances the Board may conclude by a majority that the dismissal was
fair. In these circumstances the appellant will have a further right of
appeal to the Head of his/her department/agency provided that this appeal
is lodged within 14 days of receiving the full reasons for the Board’s
decision.
