Performance targets of the Civil Service Appeal Board
The CSAB has
performance targets that are agreed with the Cabinet Office for dealing
with appeals and they are as follows:

Appeals to be heard within 18 weeks or receipt in 90% of cases

Decision letters to be sent out within 24 hours of hearings

Reports of hearings to be sent out within 20 working days of hearings in
95% of cases
-
Compensation awards to be issued within 15 working days of receipt of
representations on contributory fault and, where appropriate, the
“Polkey” factor in 100% of cases.
